About the position
The Tower Top Hand position at DISH Network involves maintaining and repairing equipment within wireless networks, particularly in the context of building a cloud-native, standalone 5G wireless network. Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair equipment within wireless networks, including equipment upgrades.
- Collaborate with Network Operations and Construction Operation teams.
- Complete work on towers at height, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Contribute to Job Safety Analysis / Job Hazard Analysis at each job site.
- Provide training and mentorship to employees in the field.
Requirements
- Ability to use a computer mouse, keyboard, and other office equipment.
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and climbing or balancing.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 125 pounds.
- Must meet maximum weight requirements of 250 pounds and maximum 60-inch waist size for PPE usage.
- Ability to wear up to 30 pounds of PPE and tools continuously while on the tower.
